Send Your Deposit

Once you've made your initial contact, send your deposit to secure your dates on the boat.  The remaining balance for your trip can be paid on the dates of your trip in person. 

Preparing for Your Fly Fishing Adventure

On the boat I have the finest in fly fishing and light tackle equipment available. All flies, leaders, etc. are provided. You will not need to bring any equipment with you. However, if you have rods and you are comfortable with; I highly encourage you to bring them.

We will primarily fish 8, 9, & 10wt rods with a floating or intermediate line. I recommend a redfish or cold water redfish taper. If you're tying your own flies I recommend shrimp and crab patterns tied sparsely with lead eyes. Flies that sink quickly are easier to get in front of the fish in 3-4' water. As for color patterns I like tan/chartreuse patterns as well as black/purple. 

Inshore conventional equipment is appropriate, a solid 7’ Medium or Medium Heavy spinning or casting rod works well. 

Things to bring:

• Polarized glasses (Possibly the most important piece of equipment besides the flyrod)

• Sunscreen

• Camera

• Appropriate clothing for the conditions. Goretex jackets and bibs are appropriate for all seasons.

• 8, 9, & 10wt fly rods with weight forward floating line and your favorite flies.
